Plastics Recovery – New Allowance

The industry introduced a new allowance for the recovery of plastics, making great strides in managing its waste in a more eco-responsible manner. This approach reflects a desire to limit the number of bumpers that cannot be repaired and that end up in landfills.
The allowance is practical and easy to apply. It will be charged to each appraisal to help body shops that are now responsible for getting rid of their plastic waste to a recycler. This is news we can be proud of, as responsibility for the environment is everyone’s concern.
The new Plastics Recovery allowance took effect April 5, 2021.
